At the start of the school year, students aged 3 and 4 were introduced to small power drills. Initially, they learned the skill of boring holes into tree stumps. This was followed by an activity where they practiced driving screws into wood pieces that were securely clamped to tables. To build on this hands-on learning experience, each student received fabric pieces printed with images of the tools they had been using. They were then allowed to select chalk pastels in their preferred colors to color these fabric pieces. Finally, as a collaborative project, the students contributed to sewing their individual pieces of fabric onto a long ribbon, creating a communal banner. This banner served as a visual representation of their collective learning and was displayed for the entire class to appreciate.
